Hello! I’m Robbyn Hart. I have been in the 9-1-1 industry for 21 years as the Business Manager for Potter-Randall County Emergency Communications District in Amarillo, Texas. I also provide the PSAP’s in the District with extra-curricular training. I also serve as the Regional Coordinator for the Panhandle Regional TERT team, and as Treasurer for Texas 911 Trainers for the past 6 years,
I am very honored and proud to be serving my second year as TX APCO Secretary\Treasurer! I feel this newly elected Board will take TX APCO to a new level of professionalism, exuberance and the accomplishment of great things!
I have also served as TNT Chairman of the NCMEC committee in 2010. Charged with launching a State-wide implementation of the ANSI standards for Telecommunicators in the Best Practices of the National Center for Missing and Exploited. My Co-Chair and I received the endorsement of the Texas Police Chiefs Association and Texas Sheriff’s Association. I served 3 years as Chairman of the TX NENA Training and Scholarship Committee, their goal was to have training for NCMEC and TERT in each of the 6 regions of TX. As well as serving on numerous committees with APCO International, Texas Public Safety Conference, DACUM, and curriculum development teams. I served my community as President of Amarillo’s tri-county Crime Stoppers program.
I have been married to my best friend, Kevin for 21 years, we have 4 children (and their spouses that count as ours) 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandsons, 3 dogs and a couple of barn cats. I love camping and spending time with my family!
